How we compare
We fetch every price, add every fee, and tell you how much Bitcoin NZ$100 buys.
That’s the short version. The longer version is below, because a comparison site you can’t check isn’t worth much.
1
We read each exchange’s public price every 60 secondsThe buy price a customer actually pays, pulled from their public API. No logins, no special deals.
2
We measure the spread against a weighted global spot priceAn exchange's own buy price already carries a markup. We read a volume-weighted world market price and treat the gap between the two as the cost it is, so an exchange cannot look cheap by quoting above the market and calling it 0% fees.
3
We add every published fee on topTrading fees, foreign exchange, deposit charges and the cost of withdrawing to a wallet you control. Every one links to the page the exchange publishes it on.
4
We turn it into Bitcoin per NZ$100, and rankOne number, after everything, for every exchange: the Bitcoin that lands in a wallet you control. Most Bitcoin first. Click any exchange to see each cost line by line, minute by minute.
What we don’t do
Hold your money
You never pay us anything and we never touch your Bitcoin. Every “Buy” link takes you straight to the exchange, where the purchase happens under its own terms.
Sell the top spot
Some links are referral links and may earn us a small commission. That never changes the order. The ranking is arithmetic, and the same arithmetic runs for every exchange on the board.
Predict the price
We’ll tell you where to buy for the least, not whether to buy. Bitcoin’s price moves a lot. Only put in what you can afford to hold through that.
